Asteroids can be found with gold on their surface, which needs to be collected by breaking the planetary surface. To collect the gold, a controlled pulse weapon would be used to crack the surface. Utilize specialized lasers to extract molten gold and rare crystals with satisfying visual effects.

Some of these asteroids contains various crystals, which would be very rare. These crystals would need to be collected separately, and there would be five different types.

Players spend gold and crystals to upgrade mining tools, repair, and unlock systems.

There would be a smelter where the collected gold could be melted down and turned into gold bars that would need to be stored somewhere.

For storing liquid gold temporarily before it is processed into gold bars and sent to the cargo bay, a specialized heat-resistant storage unit would be ideal.
